Lilongwe Malawi, Africa 2008 Report

Malawi has become a heartfelt passion for us at Trinity. This mission marks the third year of our work in Malawi. This year, like the others, was life changing to all who went. We once again worked with Bro. Booker Banda, the Pastor of Holly Dwelling Place Baptist Church; the mother church of all the other churches we have planted. Our major task on this mission was sharing the Gospel, there were a total of 9,190 who said yes to Jesus Christ. We also planted 5 new churches, and distributed 1500 Bibles, 293 song books, and 44 Sunday School books. We also helped the five churches we planted with money to start the building of their churches. Mission participants were: Bro. Jimmy & Glenda May, Mary Beth Cavner, Jeri Lynn Cox, Cathy Dalrymple, Stacy Doughty, Donna Goode, Don Hadley, Clyde Kemp, Steve Messenger, Josh Norton, Courtney Owens, and Don Whitfill all of Trinity Baptist Church. Also with us on the trip were: Brittany & Leslie Christian from Valley View Baptist Church, Herb Erhart of Leon Baptist Church, Billy Galloska, Pastor of Skyline Baptist Church at Benson Arizona, Dennis Lopez, Pastor of Jimtown Baptist Church, Jim Roluti, Pastor of Leon Baptist Church, Michael Sanchez, Youth Minister of Milo Baptist Church, and Dr. Robert & Terri Willson, Director of Missions, Enon Association.
